Baramulla, May 14 ( RNA) : Jammu and Kashmir Teacher's Forumhas said that disparity of wages among the employees of the same department was unfortunate and should be removed immediately. In a statement to RNA, Forum's Baramulla district President Gh. Ahmad Mir wednesday said that keeping a disparity among the employees performing the same kind of duty was 'uncalled for' and ' unfair'.
"Teachers of District Baramulla who have discharged their duties as BLO's/Supervisors/duty magistrates during COVID 19 have been deprived of their rights of "Travel Allowances "which is completely unfair & injustice. Pertinently few District Magistrates have issued orders in this regard but District Baramulla is witnessing no such order yet, which is also disparity of wages among employees who have performed same work.
Mr Mir while hailing the District administration for their prompt actions and measures urged Deputy Commissioner Baramulla to issue an order of releasing TA in favour of the teachers who have been continuously working during the period of lockdown.
