JKTF condemns the statement of President JKPSA, denounces his claims

Srinagar, May 18 ( RNA) : The Jammu and Kashmir Teacher’s Forum has taken a strong objection to the remarks made by the Private School Association President for what it said, mudslinging and abusing the honour and dignity of the education department.
In a statement to RNA, the Teacher’s Forum has said that abusing Education Department to avoid the criticism on recent developments regarding payment of fees was nothing but a “tactics of escapism.”
“In an interview with a media outlet the President Private Schools Association has resorted to mudslinging and has left no stone unturned to abuse the sanctity and honour of the education department in particular and whole of the government machinery in general. The interview, as can be had from the record, was meant to throw some light on the matter of recent developments regarding the payment of fees to private schools by the stakeholders, but as mediocrity could have it, the gentleman is seen taking refuge in escapism and exhibiting sheer unfairness and hence deviating the matter to some other way. JKTF would like to ask how come the matter is related to the "Frauds" in government education sector.” reads the statement.
It further added, “Next if the establishments have any financial issues, why to turn poultry farms into money minting institutions called schools?
It's proclaimed that they have reports with them what parents do, vis-à-vis the earnings of the parents, don't they think they are actually keeping mortgage rather captive the entire life style of people on this pretext?
If they need huge loans, what about the amount they collect every year in the form of capitation fees (read admission fees), where does it go?
Whole of the world is aware of the hegemony and monopoly and in such a scenario if permanent recognition is granted to them this will wreck havoc to the system. Charges of corruption have been leveled on "Fire and Emergency Department, R & B Department and other "allied" Departments, does it mean indirectly that the safety of our children is compromised, if so, then those responsible for it should be put to task for such a heinous crime.
Again it is testified that there are eighty percent (80%) back door entires in government departments, either it be proven or an apology be put forth unconditionally before facing consequences.
Finally, if their scheme of opening schools is followed, wherein they say that out of forty (40) students in a class only five (05) will be called to school per day. At this rate it will take eight (08) days to complete one topic for such a group, how much time would it take to complete the syllabus?”
According to the statement, “The matter of the fact is that they had nothing to defend themselves on this front; therefore executing cunningness they tried to turn the tables. But as they are just a turncoat, when they have to fulfill their requirements it is they who come up with novel ideas to grease the palms of some handful of people who have stained the entire system. They mould the situation according to their desires. This is absolute opportunism. Because they only know money minting.”
“ JKTF would strongly advocates an impartial audit by some neutral agency to probe into the scandal of age as often than not ZEOs offices are thronged by these people for change of date of birth and names. In the times of CCE (continuous comprehensive evaluation) Scheme how come are they detaining Children in one particular class?
They say that the tuition fee thus collected goes for pay of staff, could they please tell the people what is their monthly income and expenditure?
Their agents give them huge discounts on books, stationery items, uniforms etc, how much of that goes down to the parents?Had they not been backed by the corrupt political system lately, they would be gone by now. It is high time for the government to probe into their disproportionate assets to bring the actual "Fraud" to surface. Hence, before pointing fingers to someone else, they must also go for introspection.
JKTF challenges them that if the government hands over all the land and property that they have grabbed in the name of schooling or if we are provided with the kind of infrastructure that they have, ours will be the best result, even thousand times better then theirs. They must remember that if the money that they accumulate in the name of admission fees or donation, is provided to government schools on the same scale, we would work wonders. Ours is the challenge that they can never dare to take. We have first generation learners from almost all the weaker sections of the society. Yet we have produced cream of the society. They take three years to groom a child to make it able to sit in class Ist, we start right from class first. Besides the children they take in are already well versed with basic knowledge but we have to deal with students who only know their mother tongue. In the name of interview of parents and children they take all the personal information of people like income certificates, educational qualifications, bank balance, family strength etc. we have to admit any child without a single question that too throughout the year as we can't deny admissions at any point of time. Their monthly income is in crores, yet they pay peanuts to their teachers thus stooping to the lowest levels of exploitation of labour. It won't be demeaning to say that their castles are erected on the corpses of poor teachers. They can be easily compared to leeches, the blood suckers in the society, we even donate our blood to save the society. There is no comparison between them and us, as we stand so sublime that they can't even look upto that height.
Last but not the least if government teachers are paid handsomely, according to them, do they have the slightest of idea what kind of other assignments do we have to take? From Election duty to door to door campaigns, there is hardly anything imaginable.
Exceptions are always there, but that doesn't mean that they will use the same yardstick for all.” The forum has sought an unconditional apology from the Private School Association President and said they were looking forward for the Association to prove their Charges. RNA
