Srinagar, May 25 ( RNA): . The Medical Employees Federation condemns the alleged harassment of doctors and other employees and also condemns the alleged illegal detention, intimidation and harassment of Sr. Cardiologist Dr. Maqbool as intolerable. The
Federation President Shabir Ahmad Langoo said that at a time when doctors and medical workers are risking their lives day and night to fight the Covid-19 all over the world and on the other hand police are harassing doctors.
Shabbir Ahmed Langoo said that it is incomprehensible that on the one hand, flowers are rained down from the sky for doctors and medical employees by incentive planes throughout the country but in Kashmir they are beaten, threatened for their services.
He said that if this practice is not stopped, the employees would be forced to take to the streets. Shabir Langoo He welcomed the inquiry orders by SSP Srinagar Dr Haseeb Mogul and hoped that while remaining impartial, legal action would be taken against the defaulters. RNA
