EJAC grieved on Shaida's demise

Rafique Rather extends condolences


Srinagar, Jan 19 ( RNA): J&K Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) has expressed deep shock on the sad demise of Veteran Journalist and Founder Editor of Urdu daily "Wadi Ki Awaz" Ghulam Nabi Shaida. In a Statement to RNA, PresidentEJAC and Chairman JK Teachers forum Mohd Rafique Rather said that Late Shaida was an institution in himself who through out his life contributed immenesly in fair and transparent journalism and was widely respected for his honesty and proffessional integrity.Rafique Rather said that Late G.N. Shaida loved his soil and would always express his concern on the issues of vital importance confronting society in general and added that a true, honest and bold voice is lost creating a vacum which is very difficult to be filled in near future.Expressing sympatheis and solidarity with bereaved family President EJAC said that whole employees fraternity stands by the family and share their irreparable loss . Rafique Rather prayed for the eternal peace to departed soul and courage to beeaved family to bear the loss.
in the meantime other Senior leaders of EJAC who have extended condolences on the sad demise of G.N.Shaida, are Shabir Ahmad Langoo, khursheed Ahmad Bhat, Haji Bashir Ahmad, Syed Wajhat Durani, Farooq Ahmad Khan,Nazir Ahmad Khan,Pir Nisar, Sajad Ahmad,Malik Lateef, Faisal Nayeem, and others.
