Protests against Rizvi at Choora, Baramulla

Baramulla,March 14 ( RNA): The locals of choora and adjacent villages of North kashmir's Baramulla district Sunday staged a peacefull protest against waseem Rizvi's remarks about the Quran.
Sources told Regional News Agency (RNA) that scores of people including elderly men took to streets and staged protest against waseem Rizvi's move to approach the Supreme Court to seek removal of 26 verses of the Quran, a holy book central to the faith of Muslims across the world.
The protesters demanded strict action against the him for hurting the sentiments of the muslim community with his outrageous and anti Quran comments.
"The Quran teaches love, brotherhood and peace and not violence. The government must act quickly against Rizvi for his blasphemous remarks and hurting the religious sentiments of billions of Muslims across the globe,” the protesters said.
Reports added that the protesters also marched towards srinagar-muzaffarabad National highway to register their protest. RNA
