Naugam brigade celebrates Int'l Day of Happiness

Kupwara March 19 ( RNA): Naugam Brigade continued its efforts of strengthening the AWAM-ARMY bonhomie by jointly celebrating the International Day of Happiness with the Awam of Mawer Valley. With the world facing unprecedented challenges, wellbeing matters more than ever. The best way to keep ourselves healthy is to remain happy both physically and mentally.
A statement issued to RNA, said , "With the underlying theme of Spreading Happiness, an effort was made to let people loose from their day to day hardships and enjoy the day through a series of fun frolic events organised for them to include 'Run for Fun', Painting competition, Quiz competition. Further Felicitation of elders who have served with the army over the years and have withered the challenges of weather as well
as enemy across was carried as a mark of respect for their contributions.
According to reports the event porters from village Lawoosa were invited as Guest of Honour as they served at various posts. They were honoured through a small token of appreciation of gifts distributed by Sarpanch of Lawoosa Village on behalf of the Brigade.
College students were engaged in the Run for Fun competition while school going children had the opportunity to display their talent through painting competition and answering to the mind-troubling questions of the quiz master.
The events witnessed happiness, kindness and togetherness of Awam and Jawan through the series of events, making them forget their day to day problems.
The effort was well appreciated by the stake holders of the village, where everyone actively took part and pledged to live a life full of happiness and health."
