Students of Two govt schools in B'la test positive for Covid, Admin orders closure

Baramulla, March 31 ( RNA): Atleast five students and staff members have been tested Covid Positive in two governemnt schools in Baramulla district forcing authorities to order their closure. Sources told RNA that five Students of Govt. Higher Secondary school Mongam of Wagoora zone were tested positive creating panic among staff and parents .
Meanwhile one more student has been tested positive in High School Hanjevera Payeen in Pattan zone .
Chief Education Officer Baramulla G.M lone told RNA that both the schools have been closed immediately.
" Mongam School will remain closed for five days whereas Hanjiveera School will remain shut for two days." CEO told RNA. He added that a circular has been issued by his office asking heads of schools to give update daily to his office and added that mass testing of students and staff would be taken up with Health authorities and District Administration.
