Devise workable plane : JKCSF

Srinagar, May 11 ( RNA): with the alarming surge in Covid 19 infections in Jammu and Kashmir and the alerts raised by experts with regard to the sensitivity of the coming weeks for the situation of disease transmission turning bad, Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum has urged the govt as well as the people to strategize plans and behave in line with SOPs respectively on the occasion of Eidul ul Fiter. In a statement issued here by JKCSF Chairman, Abdul Qayoom Wani the forum said that this Eid is crucial and everybody has to play his role so that the revered festival is celebrated in such a way that it will serve an example.

Wani said since Eidul Fiter and Eidul Azha are the two biggest festivals of Muslims that festivity remains in vogue by virtue of religious obligations and the emotional outpouring of happiness of post fasting on Eidul Fiter. But on the other hand the deadly disease COVID 19 is spreading very fast with its worst kinds of variants and as such no sane person should put his life in risk.

JKCSF vehemently urges the govt to strategize the workable plans that will make possible celebration and safety go equally side by side. Coordination of SOP imposing agencies and the Masjid Committees will be a breakthrough to make people adhere to mask wearing and distance keeping in mosques on congregational prayers, this needs advance virtual training sessions to the SOP imposing officials.

Regarding the purchase of such Eid eatables viz meat, bakery and other things the strategy should consider Mohalla delivery atleast if home delivery could not be practically possible, of these items which can be done by rationalization of suppliers viz meat sellers, bread-men and others.

JKCSF has appealed NGOs , Trusts, and welfare organizations and local Baitulmal to gear up in advance to reach the needy so that no rush occurs on congregational places.

Kashmir hospitals have ever been in good records for serving the patients and their attendants on Eids, and this Eid is really a challenging occasion amid the critical situation but we are proud of or warriors working in hospitals in all profiles.

Last but not the least JKCSF appeals the people in general to adhere to the SOPs and stay out of homes only in case of emergency wearing double masks and prove to the world that even our festivals teach us scientific behavious.
