All Medical Shops to remain open during lockdown: DC Kup

Srinagar, June 02 ( RNA): Stating that all essential services would remain open during Covid lockdown, Deputy Commissioner Kupwara wednesday said besides others, all medical shops in the district shall remain open on all days also. In an Exclusive Conversation in RNA's Special Program " Face to Face" , Mr. Imam Din said, that directions have been issued to ensure that medical shops should remain open during lockdown. Further clarifying the issue, the Deputy Commissioner later said that the roster formulated by Trader's Fedration Handwara has not been approved by his office and ADC Handwara has been directed to revist it.
During the interaction, Mr. Din also revealed that the compensation has been released for Handwara Vegetable market blaze affectees and added, the market would be re-established in an open space so that such incidents are avoided in future. He also spoke about his adminstration's efforts to deal with the Covid situation, besides the efforts to undertake mega developmental projects. RNA
