Bandipora Police Carried Out a major Bhung Destruction Drive in forest areas of Aloosa Bandipora

 

Bandipora,01 October 2021:-Bandipora police continuing its efforts to root out the menace of drugs today launched an intensified mass destruction drive of Bhung and other narcotic cultivations in forest areas of Trimukhan and Bamsi in compartment No.'s 11,12,13,14 in J/d of PP Aloosa. 

 

Acting on a specific information regarding wild Bhung/narcotic cultivation in forest area of Aloosa Bandipora, a police party of PP Aloosa led by I/C PP Aloosa, SI Shakeel Ahmad along with team of Revenue department under the overall supervision of DYSP Hqrs Bandipora Shri Mohammad Idrees-JKPS destroyed Wild Bhung cultivation in Trimukhan and Bamsi forest area of Aloosa in compartment No.'s 11,12,13 &14 measuring about 30 Kanals and continued in near by areas also. The team was also assisted by the respectables/ locals of Aloosa Binlipora, Chechinar. 

 

Community members are requested to come forward with any information regarding cultivation of contrabands in their neighbourhood.Persons found indulging in drug peddling & cultivation of contraband substances shall be dealt as per law.
