DC Ganderbal reviews functioning of Jal Shakti Department
GANDERBAL, OCTOBER 05: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Krittika Jyotsna today chaired a meeting to review the progress of works under Jal Shakti sector at Mini Secretariat, Ganderbal.
During the meeting, the DC reviewed the progress of works taken up under various schemes including B2V, JJM, languishing scheme and District CAPEX.
The Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti briefed the meeting about the progress of ongoing projects/works of the department in the district.
The meeting also discussed the status of tendering of works approved under district CAPEX and the Executive Engineer said that tendering of these works is in progress.
The DC directed the JEs to ensure regular monitoring of works and pace up the speed to complete all works in a time bound manner for providing adequate water supply to the targeted areas.
The meeting was attended by Executive Engineer Jal Shakti, besides AEEs, AEs and JEs of the department.
