DLSA organizes awareness program on Rights of Transgenders in Reasi
REASI, OCTOBER 06: In compliance to action plan issued by Jammu and Kashmir Legal Services Authority under PAN India Awareness and Outreach Campaign, District Legal Services Authority under the supervision of its Chairman, R N Watal, today organised an awareness program on Rights of Transgenders at Day Care Centre (Ahata Waqar) Reasi.
The program was organized with an objective to make the Transgenders aware about their rights and responsibilities, schemes of Social Welfare Department meant for them, free legal aid services besides the latest ruling of the Courts on upholding the dignity of Transgenders.
Panel Advocates, PLVs and Transgenders of the district attended the programme.
