SDM Gool reviews EID arrangements
RAMBAN, OCTOBER 13: Sub-Divisional Magistrate Gool, Gias-Ul-Haq today reviewed the arrangements for the celebration of Eid-e- Milad-un- Nabi (SAW) in a meeting attended by officers of line departments, religious leaders and other concerned.
The meeting was attended by the Tehsildar Gool, besides officers from other departments including Police, Health, PDD, RDD, Jal Shakti and FCS&CA.
While discussing arrangements, the SDM urged the religious leaders to ensure compliance of Covid SOPs by devotees while participating in Eid congregations in their respective areas. He asked them to wear facemasks and maintain physical distance. He said that Covid is not yet over so the people need to adhere to the Covid Appropriate Behaviour in letter and spirit.
He directed the officials of PDD and Jal Shakti Department to ensure uninterrupted power and water supply. The Jal Shakti Department to ensure water supply through water tankers, if any where required. Police department was asked to ensure all security related arrangements. The direction was also passed to the concerned department to make all cleanliness arrangements in the market, especially around the mosques.
Similar instructions were also issued to the Health Department for providing health care facilities whereas the Fire and Emergency Department was asked to keep ready their fire tenders to meet any emergency.
