Mega Block Diwas held at Kulgam
KULGAM, OCTOBER 13: The District Administration Kulgam today organized Mega Block Diwas in 3 blocks of the district to take firsthand appraisal of the public issues, grievances and demands.
The programme was held at Devsar, Kulgam and D. H. Pora blocks of the district.
Meanwhile, to take first hand stock of public grievances and demands and working of various departments, Additional District Development Commissioner, Riyaz Ahmad Sofi attended the event at Block D.H.Pora, ADC Showkat Ahmad Rather presided over the programme at Townhall Kulgam whileAssistant Commissioner Panchayat, Shurjeel Ali Naik remained available at Block Devsar.
On the occasion, locals apprised the visiting officers about the issues faced by them with regard to basic amenities and sought early redressal of their grievances.
The officers and officials from line departments heard the grievances and demands of the public. Apart from resolving some of the issues and grievances on the spot, the concerned assured timely redressal of the rest of the grievances.
