Srinagar, 20 April: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference on Tuesday paid glowing tributes to Veteran National Conference leader and former Minister, Late Abdul Gani Shah Veeri on his seventh death anniversary.

Party President Dr. Farooq Abdullah, while recollecting Veeri’s contributions said he was always connected to his people and devoted his life to their service and well-being without any self-seeking motives. “The fact that he was elected three times as a legislator is a testament to his popularity, social and public service and leadership”, Dr. Farooq Abdullah said in his message.

Vice President Omar Abdullah highlighted Late Abdul Gani Shah Veeri’s selfless service to the party and the people and said that his legacy is that of honesty and social service. “In Veeri Sahab, the party has a shining example of an exemplary career of statesmanship and sincerity that will continue to be emulated for a long time to come”, Omar Abdullah said in his message.
