CEO Kishtwar conducts surprise inspection of Schools

KISHTWAR, APRIL 28: Chief Education Officer Kishtwar, Sudershan Kumar Sharma today conducted a surprise inspection of MS Bhandarkoot, HS Dadpeth and KGBV Mughal Maidan and reviewed the functioning of these institutions.
He interacted with students and directed teachers to be punctual and active in the services.
He took stock of the implementation of PM-Poshan (Mid Day Meal) in these schools and directed the HOIs to ensure the sanitation and following of guidelines in this regard for the safety and health of their students.
Special directions were also given to the concerned heads to maintain cleanliness in and around the school, conduct of morning assemblies, stick to timetable and school academic calendar, follow COVID Appropriate Behaviour in the physical class work for the safety of children and their family members.
He enjoined upon the heads of Academic institutions to develop an enabling environment for the students and also asked staff members not to entertain lackadaisical approach towards their duties.
Meanwhile showing displeasure on the low roll in KGBV, the CEO Kishtwar exhorted upon the Warden to enhance the enrolment and child retention by conducting special enrolment drives enable BPL girl child from class 6th to 8th to avail the Schooling as well as Hostel facility in KGBV Mughal Maidan
