Apni Party Delegation meets family of Khurshid Alam

Srinagar May 5: Apni Party delegation led by Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari visited the family of Ex MLC Khurshid Alam to express solidarity on demise of his wife. Besides Bukhari, Provincial President Kashmir Mohammed Ashraf Mir, Ex MLA Rafiabad Yawar Mir , Mayor Srinagar and Apni Party Youth President Junaid Azim Mattu, State Secretary and District President Muntazir Mohi-ud-din, District President Srinagar Noor Mohammad Sheikh, DDC Chairman Malik Aftab , Chief Coordinator Ab. Majid Paddar, Incharge Amira kadal Mohammad Ashraf visited the residence of Khurshid Alam to express solidarity over the demise of his wife who passed away yesterday after a brief spell of illness. In a statement released to the press, The delegation prayed for the peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear this loss. While sharing sympathies with the bereaved family members, the Party delegation said that the entire cadre of Apni Party stands in solidarity with Khurshid Alam and extended family members. Expressing greif over the demise of Bilqees Akhtar, Bukhari said "The news about the demise of Khurshid Alam 's wife came as a shock to all of us. She was a pious lady whose contributions towards the upliftment of society and welfare of women folk would be forever appreciated. The entire party stands in solidarity with the bereaved family members. We wish strength to the family members to bear this irreparable loss and would pray for peace to the departed soul,"
