DIPR organises cultural program at GCW Parade to mark Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav

JAMMU, MAY 09 (RNA) : Cultural Wing of Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) organised a cultural program at Government College for Women, Parade under the aegis of Azadi kai Amrit Mahotsav. Dr. SP Sarswat was the chief guest, while Professor Dr. Jasmeet Kour coordinated the programme. The chief guest lauded the Information Department for organizing the programme to celebrate the 75 glorious years of India’s Independence with the students and staff of the premier College of Jammu City. He hoped that the department would continue to inspire the young generation to remember and appreciate the heroes of Indian Freedom struggle. Students of the college, Samiksha, Komal, Diksha Pandita, Gurneet, Mehak, Gurtoo sisters and Ranju Jasrotia, besides Artists of DIPR Cultural Wing Vijay Anand, Bunty Shah, Surjit Singh, Mohinder Kumar, Kamal Kumar and Rajid Manzoor presented a scintillating musical programme, which was highly appreciated by the audience.
