JKAP held a meeting with District heads over extertion for elections and major political developments in the valley

Srinagar May 12 (RNA): Former MLA Pahalgam and General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir today presided over a meeting with various District Presidents at its party office M2 Church Lane Srinagar. The meeting aimed at discussing the political extertion for the upcoming elections alongside with the mass membership drive to strengthen the party at grassroot level. Besides Mir, Provincial President Mohammed Ashraf Mir along with State Secretary Muntazir Mohi-ud-din, District President Kupwara Raja Manzoor, District President Srinagar Noor Mohammad Sheikh , District President Ganderbal Javaid Mir and Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi were also present during the occasion. During the meeting, Rafi Ahmad Mir emphasized upon the party leaders to gear up for the upcoming assembly elections and directed them to put in efforts over issues pertaining to the developmental and empowerment of local masses. He also directed the District Presidents to highlight the plight of commoners and bring it to the notice of the concerned authorities to quick fix the issues. Besides Mir, Mohammad Ashraf stressed on the initiative of mass membership drives which is termed as a vital force inorder to strengthen the party at grassroot level. He called upon the district heads towards achieving the membership goal alongside preparing for the vibrant political activities for the forthcoming assembly elections. The concerned district presidents shared their views on the current political scenario of the valley alongside various dimensions and duties within the party inorder to strengthen the party at grassroot level throughout the valley.
