Faesal- Er. Combo to launch joint campaign from Uri today
Massive preparations underway for a mega show down, may announce local candidate also

Srinagar, July 04 (RNA): In a run up to the assembly elections, the People's United Forum (PUF), an allaince of buracrate turned politician Dr. Shah Faesal and former MLA Er. Rashid is set to launch its election campaign from border town of Uri in District Baramulla today. Sources in the allaince told RNA that massive preparations were on from last several days to attract a large gathering to the venue that is likely to set the tone for the campaign for the much awaited elections.
If sources are to be believed the organisers were expecting more than ten thousand in the rally that will be held at Uri Club from 10 am. This will be the first time. when the former IAS topper and Er. Rashid would be sharing the stage and addressing the gathering together. They are according to sources, expected to announce a joint candidate for Uri Consituency also today who is said to be very Influential in the area.
" It would be premature to give you his name, but I will tell you with authority that he is a grass root level person and deeply connected with the people here", a close aid of Er. Rashid, -who was overlooking the preparations overnight- told RNA late Wednesday evening.
He added that massive preparations were afoot from last several days to make the rally a grand success.
Meanwhile sources in the Dr. Faesal camp told RNA that the rally would be followed with other similar campaigns in other Consituencies in the coming days. (RNA)
