Craving for Salary,ICDS Supervisors to go on strike from Monday
Money released by GOI, would take few days to clear the pending salary: Dir ICDS

Srinagar, July 04 ,(RNA): With no salary from last many months, the supervisors in the Integrated Child Development Scheme, ICDS have decided to go on three day strike from Monday.
Many supervisors told RNA that they have been left to starve along with their families as the departmemt was not showing any intent to release their salaries from last six months. They claimed that some were forced to beseech before private transporters to provide lift inorder to reach the work place.
" We have been turned into beggers by the department. " a female supervisor told RNA with tears trickling down from her eyes.
Another supervisor told RNA that the school fee of their children was overdue and they were unable to even clear that.
The supervisors have now decided to go for three day strike from Monday to press for their demands .
Meanwhile Mission Director ICDS Shabnum Kamli told RNA that the funds have been released by Central Government and the file would be sent to Finance department on Monday where it would take a couple of days before it is actually released to the supervisors as salary.
" Yes , this was an issue but the funds have finally been released and hopefully within few days ,they will get their pending salary " , Mtr. Kamli told RNA.
