Govt. Suspends Four Executive Officers for graft involement

Srinagar, April 06 (RNA): Involved in corruption, financial irregularity , misapproprition, the government has suspended four Executive Officer of various Municipal Councils and Committees with immediate effect. The harsh step was taken after the charges were established during an enquiry conducted by Director Local Bodies , Kashmir who submitted a preliminary report to Commissioner Secretary ULB. Sources told RNA that fumed with large scale financial irregularities by these officer, the Commissioner Secretary decided to put all the four EOs under suspension besides requesting Anti-Corruption Bureau to launch an investigation and share the report with the departmemt. According to the order Vide No. 153-HUD of 2019 dated 04-07-2019, the Executive Officer Sarfraz Ahmad Bhat, I/C EO ,MC Ganderbal, Shabir Ahmad Wani , I/C Chief Executive Officer, MC Pahalgam, Syed Nayeem Razvi, EO, MC Bandipora, ( all formerly EO MC Anantnag) and GH Mohi ud Din Malik EO, Anantnag who was suspended yesterday for allegedly taking bribe _ have been suspended and the case handed over to Vigilance. All the four suspended EOs would remain attached with the Directorate of ULB , Kashmir. (RNA)
