Farooq Shah visits Goom, Ahmadpora

Srinagar, July 06 (RNA): Assuring locals of taking up their grievances and problems with the authorities, National Conference leader Farooq Ahmad Shah Saturday said that people at Goom, Ahmadpora were confronting various problems as the area seems to have been ignored by the local MLAs from last 16 years. The locals of the area complained of absence of basic facilities to the former IAS officer during his visit on saturday.
while appreciating Mr. Shah's public outreach, the inhabitants of Goom said that nobody in the past 16 years has fullfilled promises and have failed to provide the basic facilities like roads, electricity, health care, school infrastructure and other basic needs to the people of the area.
They hailed Mr. Shah's efforts to reach out to every village of the Consituency inorder to get an idea of their problems and pledged their full support to the buracrate turned politician.
Meanwhile Mr Shah assured them of taking up their issues with the authorties and said the National Conference government would undertake a mega developmental drive and Tangmarg would be a priority in that massive initiative. (RNA)
