Agriculture official attached for ‘misbehaving’ with senior female officer
Enquiry initiated against the ‘erring’ official

Srinagar, July 10 ( RNA) : An Agriculture Assistant in Baramulla district was Wednesday attached for ‘misbehaving’ with a senior female officer during duty hours. The Chief Agriculture Officer Barmaulla has also ordered an inquiry into his conduct and asked the inquiry officer to submit the report within a week so that a legal action is taking against the ‘erring’ official.
Sources told RNA that Agriculture Extension Assistant Fayaz Ahmad had attempted to click pictures of female staff in the Sub Divisional Office Sopore which was objected by the staff following which he allegedly misbehaved with a senior female officer. RNA has also learnt that the Sub- divisional Agriculture Officer, Sopore took the serious cognizance of the matter and first issued an explanation to the accused official and then recommended a disciplinary action against him. Consequently the Chief Agriculture officer Baramulla on Wednesday attached Fayaz with SDAO, Uri besides ordering an enquiry into the incident.
The area development Officer, Baramulla has been appointed as enquiry officer who has been asked by CAO to submit report within a week.
“ Fayaz Ahmad Wani , AEA on the establishment of the Sub- Divisional Agriculture Officer Sopore , shall remain attached with Sub- Divisional Agriculture Office Uri till further orders.” Reads the order Vide Number 62/ Estt of 2019 dated 10-07-2019, a copy of which lies with RNA.
