Haji Rashid expresses shock over damages caused by gusty winds in Sopore

Srinagar, July 16 (RNA): Senior Congress leader and former MLA Sopore has expressed shock over the damages caused by gusty winds and hailstorm to fruits, crops and property in various areas of the Sopore Consituency. Speaking to RNA, the former MLA said that damages were immense in Watlab, Hathlung, Adipora, Warpora, Janwara, Magraypora, Dangerpora etc and needed to be assessed immediately so that the affected are compensated properly. Haji said that the weather vagaries have devastated majority of the crops and fruits this season which has put the farmers under huge stress. He urged Governor Adminstration to start the assessment process and begin the compensation process immediately. (RNA)
