Choona Hai Aasman-2019 Finale conducted by Distt Police Baramulla under civic action programme

Baramulla, July 20 (RNA): In order to strengthen police public relations, and nourish the talent vis-à-vis to provide platform to budding talent of District Baramulla, District Police Baramulla on 20th July, 2019 conducted a Singing competition event CHOONA HAI AASMAAN-2019 FINALE (at Sherwani Hall Baramulla in which Civil Society, Media Fraternity, School Students and teachers participated). Students from all over the District participated in the event and among all 3 positions in each age category were awarded, under CHOONA HAI AASMAAN-2019 platform to age groups 5-12 years, 13 to 18 years and 19 to 25 years was provided by District Police Baramulla. Under category 5 to 12 winner was Mohd Mutaqi Bhat, while in age group 13 to 18 1st position was bagged by Lateef Ah Sofi and in age group 19 to 25 top slot was bagged by Tawseef Ahmad Sofi. The winners were awarded with Rs 5000 cash and trophy while 2nd and 3rd positions were given Rs 3000 and Rs 2000 along with trophy respectively. This step was taken to provide the platform to the young budding talent for show causing their abilities. The occasion was presided by Dy. Inspector General of Police Baramulla. The guest for the day was Dy. Commissioner Baramulla. On occasion DIG NKR Baramulla and SSP Baramulla addressed the people with the appeal to maintain communal harmony and support their kids in extra - co curricular activities so that their energies are streamlined in positive direction and overall development results among the youth. On occasion DIG of Police NKR Baramulla pressed on civil society and teacher community particularly to act as responsible torch bearers of society and assured them complete support from District Police in organizing and supporting events which will bring up the talent and streamline the future of the young generation of Baramulla. The event was judged by famous singer Shafi Sopori along with Mr Tariq Ah And Anzer Mohju. (RNA)
