Awantipora police felicitated Students and Research Scholars


Awantipora, July 20 (RNA): In a rare event at DPL, Awantipora Police today felicitated 12 students, research scholars and a teacher who had recently achieved some academic success or contributed by means of literature or research. All those persons who were felicitated belongs to Tral and Pampore areas and were happy to receive the awards.

An award trophy with appreciation letter and cash reward was presented to each of the 12 persons at District Police Line by SSP Awantipora Shri Tahir Saleem in presence of other officers like Dy. SP Tral, Dy.SP Pampore ,Dy.SP DAR and the Parents of the students who received the awards. Among the recipitants of awards/cash prizes were Touyiba Binti Javaid of Dadsara, 7th class student who recently have written a noval ‘Luna Spark and Future Telling Clock”, Asrar-ul-Haque student of Tral who has recently penned down a poetry book “Breeze”, Mir saqib Farooq student from Pampore who has penned down noval ‘World Fallen Apart” and students of Tral area who qualified NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) like Kamran Imtiyaz Ganie, Sheikh Obair Ali, Shahid Nazir, Shah Tarjuman ul haq and Rasik Feroz.

The research scholars who receive trophy, certificates and cash prize for their contribution include Dr Amir Gull of Tral Ph.D student who has been conferred with GRABS awards 2019 as best young research scholar and Bilal Ahmad Wani of Tral who has gained word Wide publicity for his distinguished work in ISSER research Institute Pune.

One teacher Sajad Hussain of Gulshanpora Tral who was conferred with best teacher award of 2019 for promoting Kashmiri language at international level was also felicitated with award and reward.
Parents of the students who were also present in an occasion were served with a cup of tea and snacks in an impressive function at Police Line. The aim and objective of the event was to encourage such people/ student and provide them a fillip to excel in their respective fields. (RNA)
