Qaisar Lone tours different areas of Lolab, assesses damage caused due to rains

Srinagar, July 25 (RNA): Senior leader and district President National Conference Qaisar Jamsheed Lone toured different areas of Lolab and Hyhama to assess damage caused due to rainfall today. Lone expressed grief over death of a 6 year old boy Burhan Amad Malla from Harden Siver, who drowned after slipping in a Nallah amid heavy rains. "I am deeply saddened by the news of death of a young boy Burhan Malla" he said. "Heavy damages to crops and livestock have been reported due rains and cloudbursts throughout Lolab valley, especially Lalpora, Warnov, Gagal and other areas in Hyhama and Kalaroose" read the statement. The statement also said that Lone was 'in touch with district administration' who are assessing the situation and reporting the damages. (RNA)
