Governor should order asset audit of Kashmir politicians and bureaucrats: Mujeeb Sidique

Applauds Modi-Shah duo for launching "Accountability" drive in Kashmir.

Srinagar, July 26 ( RNA) : Demanding an "asset audit" of Politicians and bureaucrats in Jammu and Kashmir , renowned Social and political activist Mujeeb Sidique Friday said that the mainstream politicians in Kashmir have done more damages to Valley than anybody else over the last three decades of militancy.
In a statement to RNA, Sidique who had contested assembly elections in 2008 said, that taking advantage of the "disturbed law and order" situation from last three decades , most of the so- called "Pro-India politicians" and "Bureaucrats" have resorted to loot and amassed hauls of wealth and property by illegal means plunging the youth of the valley into a state of more duress and uncertainty.
Mujeeb while welcoming Governor Satya Pal Malik's recent statement regarding “weeding out corruption” from Kashmir said ,that if New Delhi was serious to see Kashmir treading to prosperity , it must act against the "corrupt" politicians and "bureaucrats." He said Governor Administration must hold a comprehensive “Asset Audit" to all mainstream politicians and former and incumbent bureaucrats to ensure accountability.
He said Governor's tough stand on corruption has rekindled hopes among thousands of youth in Valley of something good finally coming their way.
While demanding confiscation of "illegal" properties and wealth of Politicians and bureaucrats, Mujeeeb said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah should not allow these "parasites" to exploit both New Delhi and innocent Kashmiris anymore, and added that time has come when they should be fully exposed . He claimed that the Kashmir had been turned into an "open Mandi" for " blood trade" and said only Modi and his team have the guts to shut this game and bring the " merciless and corrupt" politicians and officers to book.
The social activist also said that Youth of valley don’t see any future in the "corruption infested system" hence are left hopeless and dejected, therefore tough call on corruption in mainstream polity was bound to have a huge positive impact on their ( Youth) mind.
While appreciating Prime Minister for leading from the front in making “Naya Kashmir" which would be free of “corrupt and the corruption”, Mujeeb said that the youth have been waiting for a window of opportunity to excel and were satisfied to see that opportunity finally knocking their doors .RNA
