PDP Zonal President accuses Khursheed Alam of " maligning" party's image, quits
Says, Parachute politicians have hijacked party , corruption charges galore against many, yet President unmoved.

Srinagar, July 28 (RNA): A senior PDP activist and Zonal President in Zadibal of Srinagar has resigned from the party after a long association of twenty years. According to RNA , the Zonal President Zadibal Abdul Hassan Bhat In a letter to President Mehbooba Mufti, accused party leaders of breaking the trust of people by indulging in corruption and said , " it has become suffocating for me to be a part of it."
Bhat has leveled serious allegations on MLC and Party's District President Srinagar Khursheed Aalam of " maligning the Party's image and said "this can not be simply overlooked."
" This party was brought Into existence by some great leaders and specially Late Mufti Mohammad Syed but lately it has become suffocating for me to be part of it. The Parachute landed Politicians have hijacked this party by interfering in every important decision that led the party to the part of destruction. The latest corruption charges against some of its leaders has broken the trust barrier of the people associated with the party.
On repetitive requests to Ms. Mehbooba Mufti to take action against the accused has fallen to dead ears and involvement of Mr. Khursheed Alam ( District President Srinagar) in maligning PDP's image can not be overlooked." reads Mr. Bhat resignation letter to Mehbooba Mufti. (RNA)
