PHE Chief Engineer expresses solidarity with slain line man of Handwara
Xen along with other staff visit Sarmarg to pay condolences

Srinagar, July 31 (RNA): Expressing solidarity with the slain lineman who allegedly died during an altercation with a local at Sarmarg in Handwara, Chief Engineer PHE Wednesday said that the entire departmemt stands with the bereaved family in the hour of crises and grief. Speaking to RNA, Chief Engineer Abdul Wahid said that his departmemt would do everything possible for the family of the lineman Gh. Mohamad Lone who was to retire from service after two years. The Chief Engineer further told RNA that he has directed Executive Engineer PHE Division Handwara to collect all the details regarding the incident so that the departmemt is able to take up the matter with the higher authorities. He said the Executive Engineer Najeeb- ul- Aziz Tramboo has been directed to visit Lone's residence to pay condolences on behalf of the department and added that he will himself also visit the family in coming few days.
Meanwhile entire staff of PHE Division Handwara and Sub Division Vilgam led by Executive Engineer today visited Sarmarg and paid condolences to the bereaved family. Mohammad Yasin Sheikh President Contractor's Association Handwara was also present.(RNA)
