Jammu Kashmir Teachers forum reminds DSEK, Com. Secretary education of their promise to resolve Teachers issues

Srinagar, Aug 02 (RNA): Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum has issued a statement wherein they have reminded Commissioner Secretary Education and DSEK of their promise to resolve issues related to SSA Headteacher placement and other allied issues. In a statement released this morning, a Spokesperson quoting Provincial President, Mr Mohammad Afzal Bhat, said that teachers are uncertain but hopeful. The department needs to expedite the process of promotions which will pave way for Headteacher placement. The fact that the placement of these SSRB recruited teachers has taken a long time is extremely distressing. The Provincial President while reminding the authorities particularly the Commissioner Secretary Education and DSEK about their promise to settle the issue within the shortest possible time said that it is high time that the officers honour their promise and end the miseries of teachers. Mr Mohammad Afzal Bhat said that DDO powers of many zones have not been assigned as yet and in the wake of ensuing Eid-ul-Azha, the employees are bound to suffer. An employee has his sights fixed on monthly salary to fulfill his needs and if the salary gets delayed he and his family suffers. Mr Bhat requested Commissioner Secretary Education and Director School Education Kashmir to fulfill the promise made to teachers forum and resolve the issues without taking further time. (RNA)
