Seminar on Legal awareness was called off already due to MCC enforcement: Kashmir Jurists
Says, Support of 31- Sub Area was purely administrative in Nature

Srinagar, March 23 (RNA) : Clarifying about a proposed seminar in Kashmir University on “legal awareness”, Kashmir Jurists- Saturday said that, the event had already been called off due to enforcement of code of conduct. It further said that the support of 31 Sub Area of Indian Army was purely administrative in nature.
Kashmir Jurists is an organization of lawyers from Kashmir Valley which was scheduled to organize a seminar on “legal awareness” on 26th of March.
In a series of tweets, the organization said, “Legal awareness Seminar was (scheduled) on 26th March, 24 by “Kashmir Jurists”- an org (Organization) of Lawyers from Kashmir in collaboration with KU. The event had already been called off due to enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct.”
In another tweet, the organization added, “The support of 31-Sub Area for the seminar was administrative in nature as participating panelists were from legal or academic backgrounds”. (RNA)
