Last Date for filing Nominations for First Phase today

Jammu , March 27 (RNA):, Today is the last day to submit nomination papers for the first round of the Lok Sabha elections. For the Udhampur-Doda constituency, seven contenders have already submitted their papers.
On April 19, the first phase of elections for 102 Lok Sabha seats in 17 States and 4 Union Territories, including the seat in Udhampur, will take place.
Seven candidates have been announced thus far, including former minister GM Saroori of the Democratic Progressive Azad Party and Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh of the BJP, according to the news agency. Choudary Lal Singh, a candidate for Congress, will submit his candidature paperwork today.
Tomorrow is when the nominations will be examined, and March 30 is when candidates must withdraw from consideration.
