Party High command to decide where I should contest from : Omar Abdullah

Srinagar, March 30 (RNA): National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah, stated on Saturday that the party's top command will determine where "I will run for the Lok Sabha elections." He indicated that whether or not he is permitted to run for office and from where, will be decided by the party leadership. According to RNA, Omar while speaking to reporters at Party's Srinagar headquarters, said ,
"During election season, rumours are commonplace. But , whether or not I contest polls, and wherefrom, that is up to the party to decide."
He stated that it is the party who needs to make a decision regarding his mandate ,not him . "I'll let the party handle this," he declared.
The former chief minister retorted that the party will release the list of candidates at an appropriate time.
"It is up to our disposition to reveal the candidate list. Hopefully, the list will be released upon notice, or it might be made available to the public at the time of the nomination deadline. Thus, don't rush," Omar Abdullah continued. (RNA)
