M.A Qadri assumes charge of Dir Floriculture

Srinagar, April 1st (RNA) : Veteran Bureaucrat M. A. Qadiri monday assumed the charge of Director Floriculture Kashmir. Mr. Qadri was handed over Charge of the Floriculture department days before the onset Code of Conduct , however, he was asked to assume charge on April Ist.
Mr. Qadiri is a senior Kashmir Adminstrative service officer of 1999 batch and is known for his apt Adminstration and integrity. He has previously held various important positions in the J&K Adminstration including Deputy commissioner Shopian, Director Horticulture, Dir. Horticulture P&M (J&K)
and Director Sericulture (J&K).
According to RNA, the Director was received by the staff of the Floriculture department amid grand welcome. His taking over Floriculture is being viewed as a significant move as the spring season has already set in and the entire valley is expecting huge footfall of tourists for which gardens and parks all over Kashmir play an extremely important role to woo tourists.
