Barring Jumat ul Vida and Shab e Qadr prayers at Jamia Masjid akin to admission that the situation is not all well : Basharat Bukhari

Srinagar, April 9 (RNA) : Dismayed over barring the Jumat ul Vida and Shab e Qadr prayers in historic Jamia Masjid, former law minister Syed Basharat Bukhari on Tuesday said the govt must be appreciated for finally admitting that the situation in Kashmir was not all well as they've been publicly boasting about.
In his statement Mr. Bukhari said "LG administration deserves appreciation for conceding to the fact that the situation in Kashmir has not turned normal as yet. Shall that not have been the case there was no reason for administration for barring the prayers of the sacred day of Jumat ul Vida and Night of Shab e Qadr in Jamia Masjid Srinagar".
He urged the LG administration to stop playing to galleries and come clean on the situation in J&K. The Former Law minister also demanded a white paper on the situation in the valley. He said that, it doesn't behoove the government to play " Hide and Seek" with Maulana Mirwaiz Umer Farooq.
