BJP District President Challenges NC and PDP on Past Actions in Kashmir

Ganderbal, April 15 (RNA) : BJP District President Mohammad Amin Shah of Ganderbal has called out leaders from the National Conference (NC) and People's Democratic Party (PDP), questioning their past actions in Kashmir. Shah's remarks come amidst a charged political atmosphere, as Kashmir continues to navigate its complex socio-political landscape. Shah's pointed criticism revolves around the historical reluctance of NC and PDP leaders to step down from their positions in protest against contentious laws and policies, including the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA), the use of pellet guns, and the Public Safety Act (PSA), which have been massively misused during their time. He highlights instances of unarmed youth falling victim to violence during protests, challenging the credibility of these parties' claims to champion the rights of Kashmiris.
Shah said that abrogation of Article-370 has brought about a positive change in the security situation of Jammu and Kashmir and peace and prosperity has made its way into the lives of common people in J&K.
Lauding prime minister Modi's leadership, Mohammad Amin shah said that his dynamic leadership has transformed india into a global leader.
Furthermore, Shah lauded Union Home Minister Amit Shah for his handling of the Kashmir issue, praising the perceived restraint exercised by security forces under his watch. He commended the absence of civilian casualties and indiscriminate firing, attributing this to the government's efforts in holding accountable those within the police force who violate human rights. Shah's assertion that the police, once feared by the populace, have transformed into allies underscores a narrative of improving relations between law enforcement and civilians.
