Srinagar tulip garden to shut down for tourists from Wednesday evening

Srinagar, April 23 (RNA) : After an unprecedented blissfull season, the famous Tulip Garden in Srinagar would be closed for tourists tomorrow evening. The decision was necessitated as the seasons draws close for the colourful Tulip followers.
A record number of 4.25 lakh tourists visited the garden since it was thrown open last month.
Meanwhile Director Floriculture Manzoor Ahmad Qadri confirmed to RNA that the garden would be formally closed for tourists on Wednesday evening. He also said that 4.25 lakh tourists visited the garden till Monday evening .
