Pahari Tribe ST Forum extends support to Apni Party Candidate in Anantnag - Rajouri PC
Jammu, May 6 (RNA): Pahari Tribe ST Forum held a press conference and extended its unconditional support to renowned Pahari leader and literary personality Zaffar Manhas in the upcoming elections on 25th of May for the Anantnag Rajouri Poonch constituency. PT ST Forum has appealed everyone to support Apni Party candidate Zaffar Manhas.
Forum in one voice appealed to those few leaders who were at front during the ST struggle but now are uttering some different tones for their vested interest.Forum raised the concern that this election is a litmus test that shall prove the character and credibility of Pahari leaders and masses across the constituency as the Dynasty politics has always shattered the cause of Pahari Tribe.
PT ST FORUM has conveyed its words to all its Executive Members across Rajouri Poonch and some scattered areas of Anantnag area to put all efforts for the victory of Jb. Zaffar Manhas who is working for the empowerment of Ethnicity for the last more than 40 years.
Forum highlighted that Pahari Tribe in the past has suffered alot due to biased attitude of the previous governments but now as Central government lead by BJP has granted them ST status so unconditionally Pahari Tribe people in total must vote for Jb Zaffar Manhas who is fighting against the Dynasty based family poltics.
PT ST Forum, J&K delivered a resounding rejection of dynastic political parties, highlighting their exploitation of the Pahari community for political gains. They expressed deep appreciation to PM Narendra Modi for recognizing and addressing the longstanding demand for ST status, a move that underscores his commitment to ending exploitative politics. The forum emphasized how dynastic setups have cynically manipulated their cause for electoral benefits, keeping it hanging for years, they said that Dynastic entities have manipulated their cause as a bargaining chip for electoral gains leaving it unresolved for years.
This decisive action by PM Modi's visionary government signals a clear departure from such opportunistic politics, setting a precedent for genuine welfare-driven governance. They reiterated that the entire Pahari community stands united in this call for change.
