Sgr-Jammu highway re-opened for vehicular traffic partially

Srinagar , Dec 25 ( RNA ) : The vehicular traffic on Srinagar- Jammu National Highway was partially restored late afternoon after remaining cosed for more than 22 hours owing to fresh landslides in Ramban- Rmsu sector. RNA has learnt that the fresh landslides at Karol in Chanderkoot has triggered a massive jam on the highway with hundreds of vehicles left stranded from both sides. A stranded driver told RNA that hundreds of vehicles have been stranded leaving passengers and drivers spend night on the road. Ravi Singh, a passenger traveling to Srinagar told RNA that he along with many others were traveling by foot as massive jams had blocked the road both ways.
