RDD Director visits Shopian

Srinagar, Dec 25 ( RNA) :Director Rural Development Department Kashmir, today convened a meeting to review implementation of various schemes under RDDin the district.
Among others the meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development, District Panchayat Officer, and Block Development Officers of the district.
During the meeting discussed various developmental works being executed under CDF and MPLADS funds, besides work completed under MGNREGA, 14 FC, SBM and convergence scheme.
The Director directed the officers to work with dedicationto achieve targets within stipulated time. He said schemes like MGNREGA are meant to create durable assets in the far-flung areas and to provide livelihood to the economically weaker sections of the society.
He further for increasing man work-days under MGNREGA with proper verification and seeding of job cards.
The Director directed the concerned for submitting utilization certificate under MPLAD on time.He called coordination among concerned Departments for effective and timely completion of developmental projects.
He revived implementation of Swatch Bharat Mission (SBM) in the district and directed for organizing awareness camps regarding hygiene and cleanliness.
The Director for constructing IHHL units on war footing and stressed for updating MIS data on SBM portal. RNA
