BBBP: DDC B’la reviews implementation

Srinagar, Dec 26 ( RNA) : Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr G N Itoo today chaired District Task Force Committee meeting here today to review the implementation of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) programme in the district.
Meeting was attended by ACD, CEO, DSWO,DSP HQ , district and sectoral officers, representatives of various NGOs, PRIs and stakeholders.
On the occasion, District Social Welfare Officer Showket Ahmad Showket, through a power point presentation presented various objectives of the programme. He highlighted various parameters as envisioned in the action plan and sought cooperation from various stakeholders for its effective implementation.
Speaking on the occasion, DC emphasized stakeholders to work in tendem to generate awareness among people regarding Beti Bachoa Beti Padhoa and other women centric welfare schemes. RNA
