Vijay Kumar replaces S.P Pani as IGP Kashmir

Jammu, Dec 28 ( RNA) : Vijay Kumar has been appointed as New IGP, Kashmir replacing S.P Pani who has been moved to Armed Wing of J&K Place. The order to this effect was issued by Commissioner Secretary home, Shaleen Kabra on Saturday evening. Kumar, a 1997_batch IPS officer is presently posted as IGP Armed .
Meanwhile in a separate order, The additional Director General of Police (Law and Order, home guard and security) Muneer Ahmad Khan h as been assigned the additional duties of director, Special Security Group, J&K, upon retirement on superannuation of the incumbent Surinder Kumar Gupta on December 31
