DC B’la Inspects Mechanical Division, Railway Station, GMC

Baramulla, Jan 19 ( RNA): The Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla Dr G N Itoo along with his team of officers today inspected Mechanical Division Baramulla to review the snow clearance preparedness in the district.
Keeping in view the inclement weather condition and Met Department weather prediction, the DC directed the concerned authorities to keep the men and machinery ready to tackle any eventuality in the district.
He was informed that control rooms have been established at Sub-Division levels and the concerned SDMs will act as Nodal Officers.
Later, the DC visited Railway Station Baramulla to take stock of facilities being provided to the passengers. He inspected various sections of the station includes waiting room and wash rooms.
The DC also inspected the Government Medical College Baramulla to take stock of construction works disrupted due to recent snowfall. He directed the concerned for reviewing the process, besides deploying additional man and machinery.RNA
