Public outreach programme organized in Munzmooh Anantnag


Srinagar, Jan.19 ( RNA): The District Administration, Anantnag today organized a public outreach programme at Munzmooh Village under the chairmanship of the District Development Commissioner, Khalid Jahangir.

The DDC was accompanied by Tehsildar Doru, Executive Engineers of PHE, R&B, and other concerned officers.

Delegation from various areas including Manzmoh, Dangiwari, Zrand, Sirmarg, Astan Chek, Tanjlo, Chek-i-wangund and Bakerwal Chek put forth their demands and grievances.

A delegation from Manzmoh demanded deployment of Ambulance, posting of principle and lecturers for Higher Secondary School Manzmoh, SRTC transport from Manzmoh to Anantnag, establishment of animal husbandry and sheep units and establishment of Bank branch with ATM facility in the area.

The also demanded construction of Malikabad-Manzmoh- Qazigund road, augmentation HT, LT transmission lines, installation of additional transformers, relief to orchardists, road widening and construction of separate toilet for boy and girls at GHSS Manzmoh.

The assured people that their demands genuine issues will be redressed on priority. He directed the concerned BMO to submit a comprehensive report for establishment of PHC in the area.

He directed the concerned for deploying an ambulance and snow cutter machine, besides establishing Pathwar Khana in the area.

The DDC directed the concerned to conduct awareness camps in the area to inform people about various welfare schemes.

He directed the concerned for constructing separate toilets for girls and boys at Government Higher Secondary School Munzmooh, besides fencing AIYUSH dispensary.

En-route a delegation from Tanglo apprised the DDC about various issues and demanded a high voltage transformer and installation of genset for Water Supply Scheme at Tangloo. The DDC assured them that their grievances will be addressed on priority.RNA
