Authorties cease a JCB for illegal excavation in Mawar Nallah at Handwara

Handwara, Feb.19 (RNA): Geology and Mining department officials have ceased a JCB machine for excavating boulders illegally from Mawar nallah at Handwara this evening. The operator of the machine has fled from the scene but authorties were able to catch hold of the machine which according to officials has been now ceased. District officer Geology and Mining Kupwara Mumtaz Ahamd told RNA that the machine was operating without permission in the nallah . He said the operator managed to escape but added that the machine belonging to one Mushtaq Ahamd has been ceased and an FIR would be lodged on Thursday. RNA
