Dr Farooq expresses gratitude to people

Srinagar, April 02 ( RNA): Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Party President and Member of Parliament Dr Farooq Abdullah on Wednesday expressed gratitude to people, friends, associates, and party functionaries for their heartwarming condolence messages following the demise of his brother-in-law Dr Muhammad Ali Mattoo.
Party President while expressing gratitude on receiving condolences from different quarters said, “I on my behalf and on behalf of my family stand together in thanking all those who poured their hearts out while condoling us on our loss. However death is inevitable, and there is great strength in accepting its inescapability. I appreciate the kind messages of condolences from friends and acquaintances we have been receiving following the demise of Dr Matto. The emotional support we have been receiving since his demise has brought us much needed peace, strength and comfort. I, along with my family including Matto family stand together in thanking all who prayed for the departed in solitude from their homes. Dr Matto shall be remembered for his unflinching faith in Almighty and for his concern for the agony and misfortune of others. A man of Depth, he shall be known for his humble disposition and cheerful nature. A dignified upright person Matoo sahib embodied nobility, dignity and grace. May Allah confer upon him the highest place in Jannah. Amen.”
