Congress favours dialogue but has " Terrorism" Stopped?: G A Mir

Jammu, Feb 25 ( RNA):  Congress has said that it always favoured any intiatives aimed at restoration of peace on the borders and LOC and ensuring safety of our residents and jawans in Jammu and Kashmir but questioned whether the infiltration and cross border Terrorism has been stopped by Pakistan.
Reacting to the latest developments, JKPCC Chief G A Mir has questioned the Modi government for it's flip flop policy as it had been stating that the talks and terrorism / cross border firing can't go together.
BJP had been always saying that the no talks are possible with Pakistan till it stops cross border terrorism and infiltration. It had been targetting the previous UPA government for track two diplomacy and dialogue on the ground that no talks should be held till Pakistan stops cross border Terrorism and firing . It always advocated tough posturing with Pakistan by claiming that you need 56" chest to deal with Pakistan.
The Manmohan Singh govt always dealt with Pakistan firmly on all fronts but the doors of dialogue were never closed and the border situation as well infiltration situation was much better than the worst record of Modi government.
It is Prime Minister Modi who visited Pakistan un invited and in exchange got escalation of major terrorists attacks leading to a limited armed conflict too . The record number of over 5000incidents ofcross border firing by Pakistan in a year ,shows the weakness and failures of the Modi government in dealing Pakistan on any front.
He said that after over six years of hot persuit, leading to large no of martyrdom of our jawans and civilians and other huge loss, finally the Modi government decided to seek peace and normalcy on the borders and LOC , although it' gives a sigh of relief to the residents of Jammu and Kashmir.
Congress always favoured any intiatives which restores peace'and ensures safety of our civilians and jawans but it vindicates the congress stand that the Modi government has always adopted a flip flop policy towards Pakistan which yielded no good results in six years.
