Srinagar, March 21 ( RNA):Senior PDP leader and former MLC Khursheed Aalam has resigned from party over differences with party leadership on " stretegy and organisational matters." Speaking to RNA exclusively , Mr. Aalam said that over a period of time , he was feeling suffocated in the party as it was moving nowhere. Interestingly Mr. Aalam was recently inducted to party's powerfull decission making body the " Political affairs Committee" which is headed by party president Mehbooba Mufti. His resignation from the party is seen as a major dent to party in Srinagar district where he is seen as an influential leader. The former trade union leader is also enjoying a huge support in the Employee fraternity .
" I was feeling suffocated. We had hoped that there will be changes in party and it will go with a stretegy and organisational matters will improve but unfortunately nothing happened. Therefore , I decided to quit without making any fuss." He told RNA, adding that he will consult his workers before taking any decision regarding his future engagement.
